Currency

Cyprus is now part of the EU and has been since 1st January 2008, and therefore uses the Euro as its currency. There are many ATM’s in Limassol and the Cyprus bank in Episkopi which is only 25 minutes away also has one. Cash is preferred in most shops and taverns but village taverns only take cash.
